Boat ride to Asian side of Istanbul (across the Bosphorous Strait), lunch at restaurant in Asia (it is Asia because Istanbul is a city on two continents), Ferry ride back to Europe, turkish rug lecture and demo. Tonight dinner and drinks in the New District Modern Turkey.
This was not a great photographic day given the weather and also some monotony on what we did (a ride along the water is beautiful but does not come out well with my photos). It is the most expensive real estate in the world, after the Hollywood homes in our country.
The best part of the day was lunch at this restaurant in Asia, which of course does not translate in photos.
Last night we had dinner with one of the people on the tour and then joined the group after 10p for drinks and smoking the Nargile (the hooka pipe). I purposefully am not putting my photo or Polly's photo of us smoking it because it would ruin any future political career we might have....
